Cheese for breakfast

When Marina woke up the next day she was a bit confused. She didn't remember how she got back to her room, but now here she was. She could see from her window that it was already noon, but even so she stayed in her bed for a while. Her head hurt slightly and she didn't feel like getting up just yet.

'Finally awake I see!' Akima shouted as she burst through into her sisters room and flopped down onto her bed, not caring if she squished Marina in the process.

"Don't be so loud," Marina complained when her sister came in. She sat up in the bed and stretched. "Have you been up a long time?" she asked, wondering how Akima could be so full of energy after the night before.

'Why? Is it bothering you?!' Akima shouted suddenly, just to annoy her sister, 'longer than you .. and isn't that all that matters?' she said and stuck her tongue out at Marina.

Akima stared up at the ceiling for a while before turning onto her side and looking up at Marina, 'so, are you going to be as lazy as you were last night and just sit here all day?'

"Yes. Yes, it is," Marina said and covered her ears. But she couldn't help but laugh at her sister.

"I wouldn't mind staying in bed all day," Marina laughed softly before she started crawling out from under her cover. "But if you need me," she continued and kissed Akima on the cheek. ".. then I better get ready."

As soon as Marina kissed her cheek she was reminded of the night before and that unexpected kiss she received from her. But as far as she could tell, she was the only one that remembered what happened .. or at least she hoped she was.

'Uh-uh!' Akima said and shook her head as she pushed Marina back onto the bed and sat lightly on top of her stomach, 'if you're just going to slow me down at work today then you can just stay right here.'

Marina laughed, but her sister's pressure on her stomach made it more difficult than usually. "Aww, do you think I would just be in your way," Marina said and pretended to be disappointed. Soon after she smiled and put her arms behind her head. "In that case I better stay here," she said as she closed her eyes, pretending to go back to sleep.

'Hmm ..' Akima murmured to herself as Marina closed her eyes, 'that's fine ..' she said and leant her hands back so they were resting on Marina's thighs, 'I guess that means I won't have to make anyone breakfast because they're sooooo hungover from last night .. you just lay here and rest.'

Marina opened her eyes when she heard Akima mention breakfast. Now that she thought about it she did feel a bit hungry. "When you put it like that.. then maybe I could get up and do some work," Marina said. She tried to lift herself from the bed until she remembered she couldn't with her sister sitting on her. "If I could get up that is," she said and stuck her tongue out.

'But you're so tired and hungover .. you can't leave yet,' Akima said, pretending to be serious as she stared down at Marina, refusing to get off of her just yet.

"That's so mean," Marina pouted. "Please, let me get up," Marina said and looked with begging eyes up at her sister.

'Not unless you can tell me ..' she stopped and thought about it for a second, 'if you can tell me where we went with Jane after we closed up here last night.'

Marina looked a little confused at Akima. Why was she asking her that? She hadn't been that drunk. The last part of the night was quite hazy, but still.
"We went to that clearing. Why? Did you forget?"

'aaaaand what exactly did we do when we got there?' she asked, still not ready to get up just yet.

"You ask such silly questions," Marina said and tried to laugh to get out of answering. "Now, let me get up."

'Not until you tell me,' she said as she grabbed her wrists and held them above her head so it was even harder for her to try and struggle away from her.

Marina struggled a little but she felt too lazy to do anything more to actually get free. Akima seemed determined to get her to tell, but Marina couldn't figure out why. She decided to just answer as best as she could.
"Well.. we talked... about Uncle and such," she said, guessing some of their conversations had probably been about him.

'What else?' she asked seriously as she tried to determine whether or not she remembered kissing her the way that she did.

"W-why?" Marina asked nervously. It scared her a little that her sister was acting so serious. It was not like her.

Akima noticed the slight stammer in Marina's voice and smiled a little, hoping that would calm her down at least a bit.

She moved her head down slightly, 'tell me everything that you remember ..' she whispered in her ear, her breath lightly tickling her skin as she continued to hover there.

Even when she smiled Akima seemed more serious than usually. But when Marina felt her breath tickle her skin she couldn't help but giggle lightly.
"To be honest," she started carefully. "... I don't really remember a lot from after we got to the clearing. I don't even remember how we got home."

'Are you sure?' she asked, wondering if she really did remember what happened but was just too embarrassed to say anything.

Marina nodded. "But why are you so serious about it?" she asked curious. "We were just drinking afterall."

Akima sat up a little and stared at Marina. She watched her intently, waiting for her to do something that gave away that she was lying.

'You're right,' she said quickly when she was satisfied her sister was telling the truth as she rolled off of Marina until she was lying by her side, 'we were just drinking.'

When Akima finally removed herself, Marina rolled over on her side and faced her sister. She looked seriosuly at her for a short moment, but couldn't hold it for long before she started laughing. "You have your weird moments, you know that?"
